I was just looking online on my usual hotspots for music...and I find myself bored.

Not that I only look for music when I am bored. The music is boring. Could it be my worst fears? Anything indie or emo or punk has been so consumerized that there is no such thing as "good indie music." As with all things, greed has taken over the industry. Ugh. I hate buying things that the corporation wants me to have. I am the boss of me, there is no one else who can tell me what to be, what to listen to, what to wear or what to believe.

Unfortunatly, huge corporations have so much control of any market that no one has any real say in anything anymore. Individuality is in the latter stages of its well run life. Artists only play what sells, food companies only cook what the most people want to eat, the government only looks out for the richest majority, because thats what pays the bills.

So, Ive gone back to my, Alanis Morissette-the first record I ever bought. And older stuff, good hippie music. Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, oh yes. Blue Oyster Cult. War. My rents look at me funny now...but thats ok.
